If you want to change the display powerpoint used on a screen you will first need to be part of the Display Screens team in Microsoft Teams. If you are not part of this team please email logsupport@eggbuckland.com


 


If you are part of this team please follow this guide on updating a screen.


  1. Open Microsoft Teams and select Display Screens team of your available teams.
  2. When the Team opens please select the General channel and the click the Files tab at the top.
  3. Now select the folder with has the same name as your screen location 
  4. This will open up and give you a selection of files. You want to open the powerpoint.pptx in teams you need to the open it in full Microsoft PowerPoint. Do this by clicking Open in Desktop App button on the top tab bar. 
  5. Once you have opened the PowerPoint file you can make the changes you need. When you have finished please save the file back to teams.
  6. When you are ready to change the powerpoint used to the new version you need to have the PowerPoint.pptx file open and then click on the File button on the top tab bar.
  7. Then select Save a Copy 
  8. Then please make sure the path to the location it is going to save to is correct. 
  9. You need to keep the file name as powerpoint but you need to change the file type, to do you click in the box below the file name and select PowerPoint Show (*.ppsx) and then press save.mceclip5.png
  10. You will be warned the file already exists and do you want to replace it, Click OK
  11. Once it has finished saving you are now able to close PowerPoint. When the screen restarts next it will load the new PowerPoint and download it from the new file you have created.
