What you need
- Access to:
- Your old Microsoft account
- Your new Microsoft account
- A computer or laptop
Step‑by‑step instructions
Step 1: Open your form in your OLD account
- Go to https://forms.office.com
- Sign in using your old Microsoft account
- Click My forms
- Click the form you want to move
Step 2: Create a copy link
- At the top of the form, click the three dots ( … )
- Click Collaborate or duplicate
- Under “Share as a template”, click Copy
✅ This copies a link to your form
✅ Do not close the browser yet
Step 3: Sign out of your OLD account
- Click your profile picture (top‑right)
- Click Sign out
- Close all browser tabs
Step 4: Sign in to your NEW account
- Open your browser again
- Go to https://forms.office.com
- Sign in using your new Microsoft account
Step 5: Duplicate the form
- Paste the link you copied earlier into the address bar
- Press Enter
- Click Duplicate
⏳ Wait for the page to finish loading
✅ Your form is now copied into your new account
Step 6: Check the new form
- In the new account, click My forms
- Open the copied form
- Check the questions look correct
You can now:
- Share the form
- Edit it
- Use it as normal
Important notes
- ✅ This keeps the form private to your account
- ✅ No one else can see responses unless you share it
- ❌ Old responses are not included
- ⚠️ If this is not done before the old account closes, the form will be lost
