What you need

  • Access to:
    • Your old Microsoft account
    • Your new Microsoft account
  • A computer or laptop

Step‑by‑step instructions

Step 1: Open your form in your OLD account

  1. Go to https://forms.office.com
  2. Sign in using your old Microsoft account
  3. Click My forms
  4. Click the form you want to move

Step 2: Create a copy link

  1. At the top of the form, click the three dots ( … )
  2. Click Collaborate or duplicate
  3. Under “Share as a template”, click Copy

✅ This copies a link to your form
✅ Do not close the browser yet


Step 3: Sign out of your OLD account

  1. Click your profile picture (top‑right)
  2. Click Sign out
  3. Close all browser tabs

Step 4: Sign in to your NEW account

  1. Open your browser again
  2. Go to https://forms.office.com
  3. Sign in using your new Microsoft account

Step 5: Duplicate the form

  1. Paste the link you copied earlier into the address bar
  2. Press Enter
  3. Click Duplicate

⏳ Wait for the page to finish loading
✅ Your form is now copied into your new account


Step 6: Check the new form

  1. In the new account, click My forms
  2. Open the copied form
  3. Check the questions look correct

You can now:

  • Share the form
  • Edit it
  • Use it as normal

Important notes

  • ✅ This keeps the form private to your account
  • ✅ No one else can see responses unless you share it
  • ❌ Old responses are not included
  • ⚠️ If this is not done before the old account closes, the form will be lost
