1. Go to the Start Menu and type VPN and click on VPN Settings.
  2. Now click Add VPN and enter the following settings
    1. Connection Name: WeST VPN
    2. Server Name:  local2.westst.org.uk
    3. VPN Type:  L2PT/IPsec with pre-shared key
    4. Pre-shared key  PSK Key: YMADp23GtNg8qXS5t9wQKMST  (Web view
    5. Username and Password:  Name  (Web view)
  3. Now press Save
  4. Now within the VPN Settings click on the down arrow next to the WeST VPN and then click Advanced Options
  5. Next Click Edit in the More VPN Properties part at the bottom.
  6. In this Properties window make the following changes. 
    1. Go to the Security Tab
    2. Click Allow these protocols  and select Microsoft CHAP Version 2
    3. Then click on the Networking tab
    4.  Click on Internet Protocol Version 4 and then Properties
    5. Change the DNS to Use the following DNS servers and enter the following
      • 10.7.11.251
      • 10.3.208.6
    6. Then click the Advanced button and uncheck Use default gateway on remote network
    7. Now press ok to all windows.
  7. Test the connection on a none west network.
