This is a quick guide on how to use the Dell portal to get the quickest response on warranty claims.


  • Log into Dell Portal and navigate to 'Support' > 'Contact Technical Support' (SS1)
  • Enter Device details - you can also see here the type of warranty your device has, before continuing. (SS2)
  • Describing issue - this should be pretty specific as the 'Concierge' questions all relate to this option (SS3)
  • The last option for 'Available support options' is Dell Support Concierge, this will ask you a series of 'Yes/No' actions, which is usually what troubleshooting would take place over the phone which most of the time we have already done. (SS4)


The Dell Concierge will then ask if you would like to call them or use Chat, I have found chat is the quickest as they check what you have gone through with the concierge and just confirm booking in an engineer visit.
