Scan Barcodes of all new devices for that school into a new sheet, save in the school’s area In Teams

Assign each iPad an asset label and register in Asset Management (Teams).

Once delivered, the device should now show in Sherford's ASM as an 'Unassigned' device

- Click the device, select the 3 dots in a circle on the device overview.

- 'Assign Device Management' > WeST Net MDM

- Continue and accept.

This will now sync with Microsoft 365 (Intune) and after some time it will appear in the unenrolled device section.

- Intune > Devices > iOS/iPad iOS > Enrollment > Enrollment Program Tokens > WeST Net MDM > Devices

Search for the device serial in the search and select it's checkbox

- Select 'Assign Profile' above and then select the relevant profile for the device (School Code + Staff/Student)

- Wait 20 mins and then begin setting up the iPad.

Once on Homescreen – go to settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services

Connect to Schools Wi-Fi (it should show on available networks.

Check browsing is possible

Check device wallpaper is showing (this is a good tell that config is starting to come over)

Rename the device in Intune before it is powered off for delivery – ensure that it matches the following ‘*Schoolcode*-Student-iPad01’
